The Goblins Den LGS is the city's friendly neighborhood game shop and gathering space — Magic, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, D&D and a table full of other games, with weekly events, a Magic singles store, and two locations: Blanco Rd and Stone Oak.
The full lineup, straight from the shop's own About page — seasoned grinders and first-timers alike, competitive and casual.
Plus the gear around the games — the shop also buys cards, collectables, and consoles, right from its own front door: "Sell us your cards, collectables and consoles."
Today, finding this means catching the right Instagram post — the events block on the shop's other site never gets past "Loading event..." Here it is up front:
Weekly Pokémon play every Tuesday — the night to dip your toes into the community or run your tournament reps.
D&D every Thursday — campaigns, characters, and a welcoming table whether it's your first session or your fiftieth.
Commander pods and casual tables alongside the competitive side — check Instagram for this week's special events and restocks.
The singles store, the sell counter, and the list service each live somewhere different today. One hub should hold all three.
Commander staples, meta cards, and collector pieces in the online singles store.

The shop buys cards, collectables, and consoles — bring your collection by either location, or reach out on Instagram.
Hunting specific cards? The List Upload service pulls your list for pickup — full terms on the shop's page.

"Sample testimonial text — a real customer quote will live here once the shop's new site launches."
Both addresses, side by side — no more hunting through bios and listings to figure out which store is which.

Gizelle Whelan loved Pokémon; her husband had played Magic: The Gathering most of his life. In 2024 she followed the dream and opened The Goblins Den on Blanco Rd — a shop built on honesty, play space, and a community newcomers can walk straight into.
The community showed up — event nights filled, a 65-person night made the highlight reel, and the Den grew into a second location in Stone Oak. Brian Lee Whelan Jr. is part of the team keeping both dens running.
Until now, Google pointed players to a singles storefront with no locations or events on it — while the info site carried the story and games but opened on an events block stuck at "Loading event..."
This page is the hub: both stores, every game, the weekly rhythm, and the story — in one place a Google search can find.
Follow @thegoblinsdenlgsPokémon on Tuesdays, D&D on Thursdays — or just come browse the singles and meet the goblins.
